Explanova LLC ("Explanova," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Explanova educational platform at https://explanova.ai (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with the Service.

1. Scope and Who We Are

1.1 Controller. Explanova LLC, a Virginia limited liability company, is the data controller for information collected through the Service. For mailing correspondence, see Section 13 (Contact Information).

2. Account Architecture: Parent-First

2.1 Parents Hold Accounts. All Explanova accounts are held by parents, legal guardians, or school-authorized adults aged 18 or older. Children do not register for or directly authenticate to the Service.

2.2 Child Profiles Are Sub-Profiles. A parent may create one or more child profiles under their account to personalize educational content. Child profiles are not independent accounts. They do not have login credentials. They are created, modified, and deleted solely at the discretion of the parent.
